Kula is a word in Sanskrit that can be translated to mean tribe, community, or family. We're a relaxed, people-centered yoga studio in Glendale, with classes and events for any body 7 days a week.

Our mission is to be a comfortable and encouraging environment for any body to feel welcome, included, capable, and challenged. We provide opportunities to hang out with other cool, like-minded people, grow in wellness in body + mind + spirit, and spread peace to that crazy world out there.

We have a roomy hang out area, two large restrooms, a small retail shop, and two yoga rooms in a fresh and comfortable space.

​

People love our variety of formats, knowledgeable teachers, and flexible schedule.

Self-Myofascial Release for All Levels

​

Fascia is a continuous, web-like network of connective tissue made of collagen and elastin. It surrounds and supports muscles, organs, nerves, blood vessels, and bones, playing a vital role in movement, stability, and communication between body systems.

​

In this self-myofascial release class, we use props such as tennis balls, yoga blocks, and scraping tools to apply gentle, sustained pressure to tight or restricted fascia. This practice helps improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore tissue hydration, promoting overall ease of movement and recovery. Suitable for all levels, this class offers guided techniques to release tension, enhance body awareness, and support optimal function.

Summer Solstice Practice

​

Welcome the Summer Solstice with this extended practice designed to activate and energize the Solar Plexus Chakra. This all levels special practice will include meditation and breathwork, intention setting for the new season, Sun Salutations with modifications offered, and will finish with Restorative postures connected to the Solar Plexus.

Discover stability and develop equilibrium at Brink's arm balance workshop where we will build on foundational arm balance alignment, introduce refining techniques, learn simple and challenging variations and explore your body's ability to perceive its position and movement in space.

 

All levels welcome, modifications will be provided.
